Service Information
At Ardisam, we build quality and durability into the design of our products; but no amount of careful design by us, and careful
maintenance by you, can guarantee a repair-free life for your auger. Most repairs will be minor, and easily fixed by following the
suggestions in the troubleshooting guide in this section.
The guide will help you pinpoint the causes of common problems and identify remedies.
For more complicated repairs, contact ION customer service. A parts catalog is included with the product separately.

Battery Charger LED does not indicate activity when the charger
and battery are plugged in.

Battery Charger LED blinks RED or GREEN or is solid GREEN when
the battery is not attached to it.

Drilling lights come on, powerhead will not start, and battery
indicates (3) LEDs. ("ON" switch has been held down for more than
5 seconds, ambient temperature is very cold)

Drilling lights come on, powerhead continuously runs–stops–runs
with no load on it, will not cut ice. (Battery indicates (3) LEDs)

Drilling lights come on, powerhead runs smoothly with no
load on it, and continuously runs–stops–runs when cutting ice.

REMEDY/ACTION
Replace battery charger.
Replace battery charger.
Remove the battery from the unit and
place it in a warm location (inside a jacket
pocket, vehicle or a small cooler with a
warmer), for up to 60 minutes.
Remove the battery from the unit and
place it in a warm location (inside a jacket
pocket, vehicle or a small cooler with a
