Follow these steps to prepare the light fixture for installation.
Remove the pre-installed fixture screw
(with washer) and red flag from the light
kit assembly. Save the screw. It will
be needed for light kit installation.
Note: The screw was installed for
shipping purposes only.
Partially install two fixture mounting
screws (with washers) ,found in the
hardware bag, into the mounting
plate as shown. It does not matter
which two screw holes you choose.

Installing the Light Fixture Hood
Hanging Fan Wiring
Repeat x2
Remove and discard the
plastic connectors from the
ends of the two pull chains.

FAN FALL HAZARD
Make sure screws are tight to secure the upper
switch housing to the mounting plate.
Insert the third screw (with washer),
found in the
place and then tighten all three screws.
Canopy Blades
Feed the wire plug through the center hole of
the light fixture hood. Align the keyhole slots
in the hood with the two screws you just
installed. Lift the hood so that the keyhole
slots engage the two screws, and twist
counterclockwise to lock the hood into place.

IMPORTANT
Make sure the light fixture hood is securely
attached to the mounting plate. Failure to properly
secure all 3 assembly screws could result in the
switch housing fixture falling.

Carefully remove the
light kit assembly from
the light fixture hood and
set the light fixture aside.
