    Jolt 300 Introduction Unpacking: Thank you for purchasing the Jolt 300 by ADJ Products, LLC. Every unit has been thoroughly tested and has been shipped in perfect operating condition. Carefully check the shipping carton for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect your fixture for any damage and be sure all accessories necessary to operate the unit has arrived intact.

    Jolt 300 Warranty Registration The Jolt 300 carries a 2 year limited warranty. Please fill out the enclosed warranty card to validate your purchase. All returned service items whether under warranty or not, must be freight pre-paid and accompany a return authorization (R.A.) number. The R.A. number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package.

  • Page 8 These installaiton should be checked by a skilled person once a year. The Jolt 300 is fully operational in three different mounting positions, hanging upside-down from a ceiling or trussing, sideways on trussing, or set on a flat level surface. Be sure this fixture is kept at least 12m (40ft) away from any flammable materials (decoration etc.).

    Screw one clamp via a M12 screw and nut into the Omega bracket. Insert the quick-lock fasteners of the Omega bracket’s into the respective holes on the bottom of the Jolt 300. Tighten the quick-lock fasteners fully clockwise. Pull the safety cable through the Safety Loop located on the bottom of the unit and over the trussing system or a safe fixation spot.

    Data Cable (DMX Cable) Requirements (For DMX Operation): The Jolt 300 can be controlled via DMX-512 protocol. The DMX address is set on the top rear panel of the Jolt 300. Your unit and your DMX controller require a standard 3-pin or 5-pin XLR connector for data input and data output We recommend Accu-Cable DMX cables.

    In the case of the Jolt 300, when in 4 channel mode you should set the starting DMX address of the first unit to 1, the second unit to 5 (4 + 1), the third unit to 9 (5 + 4), and so on. (See the chart below for more details.)
