- Page 2 In order to properly use the Wolfe Inclined Elementary Microscope, an outlined series of steps follows, which will become routine as they are repeated. Be certain the electrical cord is connected to grounded electrical ▪ service and turn on the power supply.
- Page 3 FEATURES WIDEFIELD POINTER EYEPIECE The 10X widefield eyepiece, furnished with this microscope, contains a built-in pointer. Position the pointer by rotating the eyepiece. MONOCULAR SWIVEL HEAD Your microscope is equipped with an angled, rotating head. The inclined angle will promote user comfort when viewing slides for extended periods. The head is designed to swivel through 360 degrees, allowing observation from any position, relative to the microscope stand.
- Page 4 BUILT-IN TUNGSTEN ILLUMINATOR The Wolfe Inclined Elementary Microscope has a built-in tungsten illuminator. AS A PRECAUTION, GROUNDED ELECTRICAL SERVICE SHOULD BE PROVIDED WHEN USING THE MICROSCOPE. To change the bulb, first, disconnect the microscope from the electrical supply and use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the four rubber feet beneath the base of the microscope stand.
