- Page 2 The use of a surge protector will also help in preventing any possible power surges that could cause damage to the electronics in the microscope. On models 590950 you will have mounted spring-loaded stage clips for holding the specimen.

Raise the clips by pressing down on the widest rear portion of the clip. MECHANICAL STAGE The 590955 features a mechanical stage with specimen holder.
- Page 4 Now properly set, it should not be possible to move the stage upward past this point using the course-focus adjustment. FOCUS CONTROL (stage type): The Wolfe CFL Series microscope utilizes a fixed body tube. Focus is achieved through use of separate course and fine-focus adjustment knobs located on the lower half of the microscope arm and block, below the stage.

- Page 7 The Wolfe CFL Educational and CFL Teaching microscopes are packed in form- fitted Styrofoam cartons in two halves held together by a cardboard sleeve. Because this packaging is specifically designed for your microscope, it should be preserved for long-term storage of the instrument and, should the need arise, as a shipping/packing carton.
