Insert a tool into the access hole next to the fan in the bottom of the computer and push to disengage
the keyboard from the top cover (2).

Lift the top of the keyboard upward, and then rotate the keyboard until it rests on the palm rest.
NOTE:
A cable (or cables) connect the bottom of the keyboard to the system board. Make sure not to
prematurely pull the cables out of the system board connector(s).
4.
If applicable, disconnect the backlight cable by lifting the ZIF connector latch (1), and then disconnect
the cable from the system board (2).
