SAFETY INFORMATION & WARNINGS
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions must
be followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock
and/or injury to persons or property. Be sure to read all
instructions before using this appliance and observe the following
safety tips:
This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin
touch the hot surface. Always use the handle when moving this
heater. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the
front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near
children or invalids, and whenever the heater is left operating and
unattended.
Always unplug the heater when not in use.
Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, if the heater
malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner. If
you have any of these issues, immediately contact customer support
at support@newair.com.
Do not use the heater outdoors.
This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or
similar humid indoor locations. Never use the heater where it may fall
into water (such as near a bathtub) or any other liquid.
Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord
with throw rugs, runners or similar items. Arrange the cord away from
high-traffic areas where it can be tripped over.
