SERVICE TIPS – WFG to WFX
Test Program (3)
To enter the tachometer test program (only works on models
with Express programming). (Tests the Motor by doing a
quick spin)
• Rotate cycle selector to Off position and rotate spin dial to
max speed.
• While holding Start, turn dial to Temp Boost.
• After repositioning cycle selector, keep holding Start for 3
seconds then let go once 2 status lights illuminate.
After entering this test program
• Door lock will activate
• Motor starts turning anti-clockwise to 100rpm
(Distribution Speed)
• Motor speeds up quickly all the way to the maximum spin
speed (or selected rpm on the spin dial or button)
• While at max speed it will hold at this speed for about 3
minutes, eventually slowing down after 3 minutes is up.
• To make the test program not repeat itself, turn cycle
selector to Off.
NOTE: Pump will NOT be activated so drum must have no
water in it otherwise the program will cut out.
