Reduced-Kickback Guide Bar and Low-Kickback Chain
Reduced-kickback guide bars and low-kickback saw chains reduce the chance and magnitude of kickback
and are recommended. Repairs on a chain brake should be made by an authorized servicing dealer. Take
your unit to the place of purchase if purchased from a servicing dealer, or to the nearest authorized service
dealer.
WARNING: This chain saw is capable of severe kickback that could result in serious
injury to the user. Do not operate this chain saw unless you unless you have extraordinary
cutting needs and experience and specialized training for dealing with kickback. Chain
saw with significantly reduced kickback potential are available.
Use of bar and chain combinations other than those listed is not recommended.
WARNING : Do not mount a bow guide on any Efco chainsaw. The risk of kickback is
increased with a bow guide because of the increased kickback contact area.
