Product highlights
Gameport
Gameport is an easy connection solution that links your
game console directly to your audio system for enhanced
gaming sound quality. Game Sound Mode offers 3
exciting sound settings - Speed mode gets the adrenaline
going in high-speed driving and flying games while Punch
mode adds power to the punch in hand-to-hand combat
games. Finally Blast mode lets you experience the full
explosive effects of battle games. A Game Mix function,
MIX-IT, available on Mini Hi-Fi Systems, allows game
sounds to be mixed with a favorite CD track, radio station
or external audio player.
MAX Sound for instant power boost
MAX Sound technology produces an instant boost in
bass, maximizes volume performance, and instantly
creates the most impressive listening experience with just
a touch of the MAX Sound button. The MAX Sound
electronic circuitry calibrates the existing sound and
volume setting, and instantly boosts bass and volume to a
maximum level without distortion. Both sound spectrum
and volume get noticeably amplified, creating a potent
audio boost that will add mileage to any music. MAX
Sound lets you get the most from your audio system
without having to alter complicated equalizer settings.
MP3-CD Playback
The MP3-CD format combines the advantages of MP3
digital audio compression with the affordable and widely
accepted CD storage format. The end result is that a tiny
8cm MP3-CD can hold over 3 hours of MP3 music, while
a normal 12cm disc can hold over 10 hours. Using
readily available software, you can rip music from your
audio CDs or download MP3 music legally from the
internet and burn it to a recordable or rewritable 12cm
or 8cm CD. The resulting MP3-CD can be played back as
though it were a normal audio CD.
Class 'D' Digital Amplifier for quality sound
performance
Class 'D' Digital Amplifier takes an analog signal, converts
it into a digital signal and then amplifies the signal
digitally. The signal then enters a demodulation filter to
give the final output. The amplified digital output delivers
all the advantages of digital audio, including improved
sound quality. In addition, Class 'D' Digital Amplifier has
greater than 90% efficiency compared to traditional AB
amplifiers. This high efficiency translates into a powerful
amplifier with a small footprint.
