Removing
the Printhead

Press
Start/Stop.
•
The
printer will stop printing and the carrier
will
return
to the
center of the
platen.
•
Do
not
turn
off
the printer to change the printhead if you are
printing a
job.
If
you turn off
the printer while
it is printing,
the rest of you
r
job will be lost from the printer
buffer.

Remove the ribbon
cartridge.

Pull the printhead clip up and away from the printhead.
4.
Hold the printhead by the handle, as
shown,
and lift
it
out of the
printer.
