You have purchased the Neck heating pad HKW, a quality product by
MEDISANA.
To ensure the best results and long-term satisfaction with your MEDISANA
Neck heating pad HKW, we recommend that you read the following operating
and maintenance instructions carefully.
Please check first of all that the device is complete and is not damaged in any
way. In case of doubt, do not use it and contact your dealer or your service
centre.
The following parts are included:
• 1 MEDISANA neck heating pad HKW with cover
• 1 Instruction manual
The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any
packaging material no longer required.
If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your
dealer without delay.
WARNING
Please ensure that the polythene packing is kept away from
the reach of children! Risk of suffocation!
This specially-shaped back and neck pad is especially designed for use on these
areas of the body. It can be individually adapted to the body with a Velcro strip
at the neck and an adjustable elastic strap with a fastener at the hip. The use
of heat promotes blood circulation and boosts the metabolism, thereby increas-
ing the supply of oxygen and
movement in the neck and gives you a pleasant relaxed feeling after a long
hard day.
The heat pad features an electronic temperature control that regulates the
temperature according to the chosen setting.
Only use the heat pad in the cover supplied with it.
Place the heating pad around your neck with the opening at the front and close
the fastener.
Plug the unit into the mains outlet and move the slider control from position 0
to position 1. The power LED will light up in blue. After a few minutes you will
be able to feel the pad getting noticeably warmer. If you require a higher
temperature setting, move the switch to the next positions, 2, or to the
maximum heat setting, position 3. If the pad gets too hot for you, move the
slider back to position 2 or 1.
After a short while the heating pad cools down noticeably.
