Description
These test leads allow you to make multiple measurement connections, depending on your testing needs. There
are three different types of probe tips included with the test leads:
• Standard probe (quantity: 2)
• Needle probe (quantity: 2)
• Spring hook (quantity: 2)
These test leads should only be used by qualified personnel who recognize shock hazards and
are familiar with the safety precautions required to avoid possible injury.
The test lead's ratings may be greater than those of the instrument. Do not exceed the ratings
of the instrument. Also, do not exceed the maximum signal levels of this accessory (as defined
in the Characteristics paragraph) or any attached instrument.
Inspect the probes, lead insulation, and insulating sheaths for wear, cracks, or breaks before
each use.
For maximum safety, never touch or change the leads or power connections when power is
applied to the circuit under test.
Always turn off test system power and discharge all capacitors before connecting or
disconnecting the leads.
To prevent exposed voltages or shorting between connections, make sure both ends of the
cables are properly connected before applying power.
