USE AND MAINTENANCE FOR
USE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
To start any operation, it is necessary to unlock the remote control.
To activate the functions, simultaneously press 1 and 9.
(The unlock function of the controller is similar to that on mobile phones)
Signal healthy light (5), illuminates when any is pushed.
The illuminated LED signifies that the signal has been correctly received by the mast.
Pressing button 11 tests check the electrical supply and battery charge. Battery he-
althy light (12) will illuminate.
MAST EXTENSION
To begin the mast extension, hold down button 1. By holding down button 1, the Roof
system can tilt till up by 90° and only at this point the pneumatic loading valve opens.
TO ILLUMINATE FLOODLIGHTS
To switch the lamp unit ON, use keys 8, 9 and 10. LEDs next to each of the buttons
signify which lamps are active.
FLOODLIGHTS MOVEMENTS
Depending on which lamp is selected, it is possible to move the floodlights in any
direction (right, left, up, down). Use buttons 3, 4 and 15*, 16* for tilting, use 6 and
7 for turning.
AUTOMATIC RESTORE
For instant mast stowage, simply press button 2, or alternatively
release the hand-brake when connected (see item 2 on page 18).
This will restore the mast back to its storage position.
Automatic retraction operates in the following order:
• Floodlights OFF
• TT restore
• Opening of pressure relief valves
• System back to vertical position.
NB: The mast head will only start tilting after the mast head locator switch is closed.
