TROUBLESHOOTING
NO SYSTEM INPUT
1) Press the BATTERY CHECK BUTTON and check that the LED illuminates (page
16, n° 11 and 12). If the LED is not illuminated:
• Check the status of the fuse. This can be found in
the fuse-holder, which is above the electrical box at
the base of the system. The fuse must be a 5x20
mm "fast blow fuse". 10A slow blow fuses are not
suitable.
• Check the Voltage to the red and black wires at the
base of the Roof system (see picture A page 12).
• Check that the emergency restore button positioned on the cover is not
pressed
• Check the automotive fuse on the power board inside the electrical box (see
picture A page 22)
If you are using the radio control:
Press the Battery test button to check the charge status of the batteries.
(LED ON: battery charged). In this case, perform the frequency self-learning
procedure by simultaneously pressing buttons n°1 and n°2 for five seconds
(green and yellow, page 16). Ensure that you are not standing too far from the
vehicle or that there is nothing blocking the signal path.
2) If the handbrake cut-out function is installed, check the relay or switch used to
signal that the handbrake is operating correctly. If necessary , try by by-passing
the hand-brake security function, by creating an electrical bridge between the
relevant contacts (refer to table on page 22).
3) Ensure you are executing the correct unlocking sequence on the remote
control (for the correct procedure, please refer to page 16).
THE SYSTEM TILTS BUT DOES NOT EXTEND
For versions without compressor
Check the pneumatic circuit:
• Check the pneumatic hose is properly connected to the quick connection

and that it is not damaged, squashed or bent
• Ensure the circuit pressurised (operating pressure - 2,5 bar)
• Check the group of electro-valve the opening of the flow regulator
• Check that the air loading valve is working and properly connected.
For versions with 24V compressor
Check the 5x20 16A fuse on the "UM394" electronic board (see picture B page
22).
For versions with 12V compressor
Check the operation of the 12V relays found inside the electrical box.
THE MAST EXTENDS BUT THE FLOODLIGHTS DO NOT SWITCH ON
1) Check the status of the 110/220V AC protection fuse, if present (installation
of this fuse is the installer's responsibility)
2) Ensure that the bulbs are not damaged or that there is no evidence of
burning
3) Ensure the relay set is working (see picture 1 page 11)
AUTOMATIC RESTORE FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE
If mast does not restore in the expected manner:
• Check that both turning and tilting end-switches found on the mast head
are at position 'ZERO' (see pictures 2 and 3 page 11)
• Check the air discharge valve operates correctly
• Press STOP, unlock the board and then again press the yellow button (key
2)
TO MANUALLY TILT THE MAST
• Remove the outer protective cover
• Remove the mechanical actuator protection plate off
• With a cross head screwdriver, turn the screw clockwise to lower the mast
to its stowage position
