Foreword to the Operating Manual This operating manual is intended to familiarize the user with the 1 and its designated use. This operating manual contains important information on how to operate the machine safely, properly and efficiently. Observing the instructions in this manual will help to avoid dangers, reduce repair costs and down-times, and to increase the reliability and service life of the machine.
The selling dealer has no authority to make any representation or promise on behalf of Spudnik, or to modify the terms or limi- tations of this warranty in any way.
Particular attention should be paid to the section entitled “Safety”. And instructions which are not understood must be clarified before initial operation of the machine. In such cases, please consult your SPUDNIK agent or contact us directly.

SAFETY General: Safe operation of this piece of equipment as with any equipment is dependent on the operator understanding function and operation of machine. Carefully read and adhere to all safety instructions in manual and safety signs on machine. Regularly inspect machine, and keep in proper working order, replace worn or missing safety labels.

MACHINE OPERATION The model 1275 Telescoping Belly Dump Conveyor has been designed to be used to unload hopper bottom trailers, in the most efficient manner to maintain integrity and structure of product being hauled. All controls are located on right side of conveyor and should be operated by a single operator, standing by side of conveyor.
LUBRICATION • The hydraulic system used to power belt drive and auxiliary functions uses dexron III E ATF (automatic transmission fluid) for prime mover. Hydraulic reservoir fill level should be checked at start of each season, and filled as needed. Hydraulic oil reservoir has a 5-gallon capacity.
MAINTENANCE • Replace damaged or missing drive shields and safety labels at start of every season. • Proper belt alignment and tension are key to long belt life. • Belts should be kept in alignment between conveyor shell, alignment should be an even distance between belt and conveyor shell on each side.
