    This manual contains information concerning the operation procedures for the BK Radio KNG Portable radio. The KNG has been designed to meet the tough requirements of today’s communications environment. Please take a moment to read the information in this manual so you can get optimum performance from your new radio.

Rechargeable battery packs can be charged separately or while attached to a radio.     Radios that have the DES/AES factory option for encryption must have encryption keys loaded with an APCO Project 25 compatible key fi ll device such as the Motorola KVL 3000 Plus, using a BK Radio keyloader cable. The radio can hold up to 32 AES and/or DES keys.
