Good Afternoon,
We have a BK KNG-M150 radio and we are not sure if there is a screen black out option? it appears that the radio has power as there is a small blue indicator light that comes on when power is connected but the main screen remains black. We have tried to power on and off the radio with no change and the Mic will not Tx?

Yes, the BK Radio KNG M-150 has a screen blackout option. The display and microphone lighting can be turned off by setting the backlight to "Off." In this mode, the screen remains black, but touching the bottom area of the display will turn it back on.
A possible cause for the main screen to remain black while the power indicator light is on could be that the backlight is set to "Off."

Good Afternoon, We have a BK KNG-M150 radio and we are not sure if there is a screen black out option? it appears that the radio has power as there is a small blue indicator light that comes on when power is connected but the main screen remains black.
