Bot'n Roll ONE A User Assembling Manual
7.3. DEBUG "LED"
Load the program "LED" located on "File -> Examples -> BnrOneA -> Basic -> LED" to the robot. When
the upload ends, you should see the LED blinking each second.
Should the LED not emit any light you must check for short-circuits or bad solders on:
LED LED;
R18 resistor;
Pin 13 of the Arduino 8-SCL connector;
SSP jumper;
PIC18F45K22 integrated circuit socket.
ATmega328 integrated circuit socket.
Assure that you have soldered the LED LED respecting its polarity. You can check that using a multimeter
or comparing the LED internal connections with an identical one.
7.4. LCD
Load the "LCD" program located on "File -> Examples -> BnrOneA -> Basic -> LCD" to the robot. When
the upload ends, you should see the "LCD Test OK!!" message on the LCD.
Should you not see the message, check that:
The robot main switch is ON;
You correctly adjusted the LCD brightness using the BR potentiometer;
You correctly adjusted the LCD contrast using the CT potentiometer;
If you still cannot see the message on the LCD verify that there are no short-circuits or bad solders on:
LCD 16 pins connector;
BR potentiometer;
CT potentiometer;
SSP jumper;
PIC18F45K22 integrated circuit socket.
ATmega328 integrated circuit socket.
