E - 13 Passive
High durability headset, designed for use with military-style low
impedance interphone systems.
Fitting Instructions
Properly fitting Flightcom's E-13 headset to each user's head is crucial to proper
performance. The headpad should fit comfortably on top of the head without a gap
or space between the head and headpad. The headset should be centered on the
head and the ear seals should comfortably cover the ears without being placed too
far forward on the jawbone or face.
• The microphone should be no more than 1/8" from the
mouth to ensure clarity and peak performance.
• To increase the length of the headband, loosen the nuts
found on each side of the headband; slide the domes in a
downward direction. To decrease the size of the headband,
loosen the nuts found on each side of the headband; slide
the domes in an upward direction. Tighten the headband
nuts when the headband is properly sized.
• To change the boom from left or right dress, loosen the
knurled knob located at the top of the microphone boom.
Rotate the boom over the top of the headset to desired position; tighten the
knurled knob to secure the boom. Caution: rotating the boom in the wrong
direction may cause non-warranty damage to the boom wiring.
• Volume control is located at the top of the dome on the boom side of the headset;
rotate clockwise to increase headset volume.
Installation
• Insert the headset plug into your aircraft comm panel jack.
•
djust the headset size for proper fit and comfort.
