Unplug the power cable to allow you to remove the CAT862 assembly from the DSS200: Power Cable You may now move the cables from the old CAT862 to the new CAT862. Replace any cable ties/strain relief that you remove: Dolby® CAT862 Replacement and Connections...

Card Removal/Replacement The SMB connectors are labeled as to function: You may have to move the large mounting bracket from the old CAT862 to the new unit. Locate and remove the 4 screws at the corners of the CAT862: Dolby® CAT862 Replacement and Connections...

Card Removal/Replacement Carefully turn the CAT862 over and locate the 4 screws on the mounting plate: These screws may have RED Loctite sealant applied to the screw threads. Be careful not to strip the Phillips screw heads. Once the screws have been removed, you can lift the mounting hardware away from the CAT862: Install the mounting hardware onto the new CAT862 and reassemble.

If you are experiencing a loss of Ethernet connection between the DSS200 and the CAT862 card, you should try and replace the short cable on the outside of the DSS200 first. (Use only HIGH QUALITY Cat 6 or Cat5e cable) If that does not correct the problem you may wish to replace the Ethernet cable inside the DSS200.
