It is illegal to dump plastic trash anywhereinto the ocean or navigable waters
of the United States. Violation of these requirements may result in civil penalty
up to $25,000 and fine of $50,000 and imprisonment up to five years.
Regional, state and local restrictions on garbage, discharge amy also apply.
