(Original instructions)
Turning the Unit On or Off
To turn the unit On or Off, plug it into a mains
socket and flick the Power On/Off switch at
the back of the appliance to the On position
(represented by the symbol 'I'). The unit will
give off a beeping sound to indicate it has been
powered up.
To turn the appliance off, press the On/Standby
button on the remote control or the unit's control
panel while the unit is in operation to put it into
Standby mode. A countdown will begin on the
unit's LED screen. When the timer reaches '0', the
unit will automatically turn itself off
NOTE: The length of the shut-off countdown timer
will vary depending on the selected heat settings and
the duration of the heating cycle. If the unit was used
at a low setting and for a short time, the cool-down
period will be quicker, and the timer will be shorter;
if it was used at a higher temperature or for a longer
period of time, the cool-down process will take
longer, and the timer will reflect this.
When the countdown has concluded and the unit
has returned to Standby mode, flick the Power On/
Off switch to the Off position (represented by the
symbol 'O') to turn the unit off.
NOTE: To ensure optimal functionality, take care
to point the remote control directly at the unit's
LED display when controlling the unit hands-free.
If the remote is not pointed directly at the display,
button presses will not be recognised and the unit's
performance will be affected. This principle applies
to all remote-controlled functionalities described
below.
Heat Setting Selection
This heater offers a choice of Low, Medium and
High heat settings and Medium and High fan
settings.
Press the 'MODE' button on the remote control
or the unit's control panel to cycle through the
available heat and fan settings. The corresponding
indicator will light up on the unit's display screen to
show each setting has been selected.
