TIPS FOR PROPER OPERATION
• Check the thread spool carefully before each use and ensure it is not damaged.
• Only use undamaged thread spools.
• Make sure that the work area is free of rocks, wires, debris and any other hard objects that may cause kickback. If an object cannot be removed, mark its
location so that you can avoid touching it with the blade.
• Do not trim wet grass.
• For best cutting results, swing the grass trimmer sideways.
• If the grass is long, it has to be cut short in steps starting from the tip.
• Keep the power tool away from hard objects to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.
• The safety guard (9) has an integrated thread cutter (K) which keeps the thread length constant during operation.
• If you are using the grass trimmer for edge trimming, press the spacers (11) down towards the thread spool.
• If you are using the product on corners and edges, you can move the guide wheel (15) along the edge by applying slight pressure.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

• Turn off the power tool, remove the battery and wait until the cutting part has completely stopped moving before carrying out maintenance or cleaning work
and before transporting it.
• Always grab the grass trimmer by the handle while transporting it.
• Use only the manufacturer´s recommended replacement parts and accessories.
• Inspect and maintain the machine regularly. Don't disassemble the tool or carry out any repairs. Have the tool repaired only by authorized service personnel.
• Secure the machine during transport to prevent damage or injury.
• Store the product, its accessories and the manual in a dark, dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.
• Always store the product in a place that is inaccessible to children.
• Remove dust and dirt regularly.
• Re-lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals.
• Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts.
• Get the machine serviced and cleaned professionally by a specialist at regular intervals.
• Clean the grass trimmer with a moist cloth. Never use strong and/or abrasive cleaning agents. Allow all parts to dry completely.
• Keep the ventilation slots clean and unobstructed.

Possible causes
1. The battery is empty.
2. Problem with battery contacts.

foreign objects in the thread spool.
2. The thread is too short.

Solution
1. Charge the battery.
2. Slide the battery into the designated spot
on the handle of the machine. The battery
has to click in place audibly.
1. Have the machine repaired by a service
technician.
1. Remove the foreign objects that have
accumulated in the thread spool.
2. Lengthen the thread by pressing the spool
and pulling the thread at the same time.
