NOISE INFORMATION

VIBRATION INFORMATION

Warning: This power tool may cause hand-arm vibration syndrome if used frequently for extended periods of time without taking breaks
regularly and if protective gloves are not worn.
Warning: The vibration emission values can differ from the aforementioned ones depending on how the power tool is used, the materials
being cut and if:
• The tool is not in good condition and not well maintained.
• Accessories are used that do not match the tool.
• Anti-vibration accessories are not used.
• The tool is not used as intended.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before operation
Warning: Do not use the product in potentially explosive atmospheres. Use the product only in ambient temperatures between 10 - 40°C.
Turn off the machine before carrying out any maintenance or repair work or mounting or replacing accessories.
Inserting/removing the battery (Fig. A)
• Insert the battery (4) into the designated spot below the handle (1) until it clicks into place.
• To remove the battery, press the battery unlocking latch (A) and slide the battery out of the handle.
Charging the battery (Fig. B)
Caution: The battery is slightly charged when it leaves the factory. Charge the battery fully before using it for the first time.
The battery heats up while charging. Always allow the battery to cool down to room temperature before you charge the battery.
• Remove the battery (see section "Inserting / removing the battery").
• Connect the power adapter (14) to the charging port (B) of the battery.
• Connect the plug of the charger to a suitable socket.
- During the charging process, the red charging indicator glows.
- After about 60 - 90 minutes, the red indicator light goes out.
- The green indicator light glows continuously when the charging is completed.
Note: The charger will become warm and may make slight buzzing sounds while charging. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.
• Disconnect the charger's plug from the socket once the battery is fully charged.
Checking the battery level (Fig. C)
• To check the charging status, the battery level indicator lights up when you press the control button (C).
• The battery level is shown by 3 LEDs.
- 3 LEDs start glowing: Battery is charged.
- 2 LEDs start glowing: Battery is partially charged.
- 1 LED starts glowing: Battery needs to be charged.
Mounting the safety guard (Fig. D)
• Mount the safety guard (9) on the product until it clicks into place and screw it on to the side using the screw provided on the safety guard.
