External I/O To fulfill an even wider range of applications and use cases, UnaBell LTE-M may also act as a battery-powered gateway when used with its corresponding plug-and-play accessories in addition to the embedded button on the device. The configuration in UC should be updated to the accessory that is plugged into the device.

    An example scenario is that a 2 wire pressure sensor customized by the user is connected to the UnaBell LTE-M to detect the state of a seat. The edge detection in occupancy mode detects when the pressure is applied and sends an 'occupied' message, then ignores other triggers from the sensor for a pre-defined period of time (occupancy duration), then checks if the pressure is still being applied.
