Booster pack operating Instructions
JuMP StArting
NoTe: Do not store the Booster Pack below 50° F when using as a jump starter. A Booster Pack will not
be able to produce its maximum power at low temperatures.
1. Make certain the vehicle ignition switch is off before making cable connections.
2. Do not touch RED (POS +) clamp to BLACK (NEG -) clamp.
3. Use in well-ventilated area.
4. Wear safety glasses.
5. Turn unit ON
6. Clamp the positive (RED +) clip to the positive terminal on the weak battery (for negative system).
7. Clamp the negative (BLACK -) clip to the engine (ground). Make sure cables are not in the path of
moving belts or fan.
8. Stay clear of batteries while jump starting.
9. Start the vehicle.
10. Once the vehicle is started, disconnect the negative (-) clamp.
11. Disconnect the positive (+) clamp.
12. Turn Unit OFF
13. Return clamps to the case for safe storage.

If the vehicle doesn't start within 6 seconds, wait three (3) minutes before attempting to start the vehicle
again. This will allow the Booster Pack battery to cool. Shortening this cooling time can cause damage to the
Booster Pack battery.
RISk oF INJURY FRoM MoVING PARTS.
• Never connect the Booster Pack clamps to a vehicle when the engine is running.
• Always stay clear of fan blades, fan belts, pulleys and other moving engine parts when
working near an engine. Moving engine parts can cause severe personal injury including
dismemberment.
• Always make sure that the Booster Pack cables and clamps are positioned so they
will not come in contact with any moving engine parts.
12 volt DC power supply
Your Booster Pack can also function as a mobile 12 volt DC temporary power source. The 12 volt power
receptacle is located in the front zippered pocket of the Booster Pack.
NoTe: For a 12 volt device to be used with the Booster Pack, it must have a cigarette lighter-style plug
or receptacle using the Accessory Power Cord.
