Transferring Images to a Macintosh

Connect your camera to your Macintosh to transfer images.
We recommend using a AC Adapter D-AC8 (optional) when
connecting your camera to your Macintosh. Your image data could
be corrupted if your batteries run out during image transfer.
Connecting the Camera and Macintosh

Turn your Macintosh on.

Turn your camera off and connect it to the Macintosh
with the USB cable.
Make sure the SD Memory Card is inserted in the camera.

Turn your camera on.
The camera is recognized as [NO_NAME] ([untitled] on
Mac OS 8.6-9.2) on the desktop. The folder name can be
changed.
If the digital camera is connected to your Macintosh in [PictBridge]
USB Connection mode, the digital camera will not be properly
recognized as a storage device. In that case, disconnect your
camera from the Macintosh and follow the instructions in "Setting Up
Your Digital Camera" (
[PC], and then reconnect the USB cable.
