DANGER
The local regulations for work on highvoltage installations must be observed!
Installation or adjustments on the AKE200 must not be carried out on the line equipment of a PLC
²
system unless the high-voltage side of its coupling capacitor has been grounded as specified in the
regulations (usually via the ground wire).
Installation of the AKE 200 only after the high voltage power line is switched off and cleared by the
²
system personnel.
Grounding of the coupling capacitor only with a disconnecting switch, if one is provided, is not gener-
²
ally regarded as adequate.
Attention! Observe local safety regulations when using the grounding switch S1!
²
Proper grounding of PE is essential for safety against electrical shock.
²
PRI port must be earthed with an earth rod and tested free of voltage before any manipulation of the
²
device.
Drain coil must always be connected between PRI port and earth (PE). If not, dangerous voltages
²
appear on PRI port, and device damage will be possible.
Adjust drain coil and make continuity test PRI to earth (PE) before commissioning on site!
²
Check the quality of the earthing system regularly!
