Technical Description The upper part of the boiler consists of a stoking door fitted on hinges and a cleaning door attached to the weldment by means of fly nuts. The door is sealed tightly to the boiler body by a heat insulation rope. - Page 4 Heat and Comfort upper part of the space, there is a movable heating flap, which allows direct flue gas removal from above to the bell. Operating the Boiler Prior to initial heat-up: Check whether the boiler or the entire heating system is filled with water or other heat bearing medium and duly de-aired. - Page 16 Heat and Comfort In order to prevent any smoke leakage when opening the stoking door and stoking fuel, take the following procedure: - prior to stoking, close the air supply using the choker in the ash pan door and slightly open the stoking door by roughly 1 to 1.5 cm in the frontal part of the stoking door Wait for about 10 seconds until the smoke gases are sucked away and then open the stoking door fully.

If the resultant pressure differential exceeds 60 kPa, the pressure expansion vessel is inappropriate and a risk of pressure body damage is imminent.

Operating Principle: a sensor in the ½” catchment located in the upper part of the boiler takes boiler water temperature measurements; whenever the water temperature in the boiler grows to 95°C (TS 130) or 97°C (STS 20), the fixture starts to automatically open and supply water into the in-built safety exchanger in order to remove the heat and prevent the boiler from overheating.
- Page 24 Heat and Comfort 10.7 BOILER OPERATION SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS From the viewpoint of safety and economy, the appliance may only be serviced to instructions given in the present manual. The boiler may only be left unsupervised if the performance is adjusted in such a way that the system cannot get overheated (subdued operation), or if it is fitted with an appropriately adjusted and functioning capacity controller, yet even under such conditions, it must be checked by the operator from time to time.
