Installing the Control Cover
1. Install the cover to the rear hood with 7 hex-socket
bolt (1/4 x 5/8 inches) and 7 flange nuts (1/4 inch)
(Figure 3).
Note: Apply a thread-locking compound.

2. Install the latch mount assembly to the machine with 2
hex-socket bolts (1/4 x 5/8 inches) and 2 flange nuts
(1/4 inch) (Figure 4).
Note: Remove any stickers blocking the holes.
Note: Apply a thread-locking compound.

3. Assemble the latch clip to the latch mount with 2
hex-socket bolts (1/4 x 1-1/4 inches), 2 washers (5/16
inch), and 2 flange nuts (1/4 inch) (Figure 5).

4. Install the catch mount assembly to the machine with 4
hex-socket bolts (1/4 x 5/8 inches) and 4 flange nuts
(1/4 inch) (Figure 6).
