Preparing the Machine

1. Move the machine to a level surface.
2. Shut off the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop.
3. Remove the handle cover

Installing the Kit

Install the traction-assist handle on the machine as
shown in Figure 2.

Operation

Using the Traction-Assist
Handle
The traction-assist handle allows you to use your
hands to control the speed of the machine instead of
your walking speed. This is helpful for turning tight
corners, going up hills, and mowing at maximum
speed.
1. Reach forward with your fingertips and grasp the
corners of the traction-assist handle
