 open the cap located on the
compressor, engage the cartridge
and rotate a quarter turn clockwise,
fig. 49
 remove the cap from the tyre valve
and screw the black compressor
tube onto the valve
 make sure that the ON/OFF button
is in the OFF position (button in 0
position)

 insert the electrical connector
fig. 50 into the 12V socket on the
car

 activate the compressor moving the
ON-OFF button, fig. 51, to the on
position (button in I position)
 when the pressure gauge indicates
the prescribed pressure indicated
in the Owner Handbook ("Wheels"
chapter "Technical Data" section) or
on appropriate label, switch off the
compressor by turning the button to
the OFF (O) position

If 10 minutes after the compressor is
turned on, the pressure gauge fig. 52
indicates a pressure lower than 2 bar /

29 psi, switch off the compressor,
disconnect the black compressor
hose from the tyre valve, unscrew the
cartridge from the compressor by
turning counterclockwise a quarter
turn, and lift off. Move the car by
approximately 10 metres to allow the
distribution of the sealant.
Stop the engine, turn on the hazard
warning lights; stop the car safely, apply
the parking brake; move the gear lever
to P and leave the wheels steered; if
there is a steep slope, place a wedge
or rock behind the wheels and restore
the precribed pressure using the black
compressor hose fig. 52.
