Selecting how to show 4:3 aspect pictures on the LCD

Skipping a minute forward (CM SKIP)

Convenient when you want to skip commercials etc.
During play, press [CM SKIP].
This may not work depending on the play position.

[DVD-VR] Does not work:
-with still picture part.
-when playing a playlist.

Repeat play

(Only when the elapsed play time can be displayed.
[JPEG] [SD[PICTURE] : you can use even if there is no elapsed time display.)

Press [ ] to select the monitor mode.
NORMAL: Normal (displays in 4:3 video aspect)
FULL: Stretches the picture horizontally to fill the screen
ZOOM: Stretches the picture vertically and horizontally
JUST: Stretches the right and left edges of the picture to fill the screen
OFF: No picture
If you are not using the LCD on this unit, select "OFF" to
conserve power. (The [
The LCD turns off automatically if you close it.
To exit the screen: Press [RETURN].
Press [ ] to select the item, and [
BRIGHT: Dims or brightens the picture ( 5 to 5)
COLOUR: Adjusts the shade of the picture's color ( 5 to 5)
SHARP: Adjusts the sharpness of the edges of the horizontal lines. ( 1 to 2)
GAMMA: Adjusts the brightness of dark parts ( 1 to 2).
SD INDICATOR: Turn ON or OFF the illumination which will appear
while
"SD" is selected.
To exit the screen: Press [RETURN].
