1. Introduction

This procedure describes how to connect the serial console of a GMSplus to a computer.

2. Required Tools

RS-232 Cable, straight
RS-232 to USB Adaptor (recommended ist Aten UC232A)
Windows Computer with installed terminal software, recommended is uCon (http://www.umonfw.com/ucon/)
Any other serial port terminal software may work as well

3. Connect GMSplus

Connect the serial cable to the CONSOLE connetor of your GMSplus
