AUGER CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the auger clutch, refer to the Final
Adjustments section page 9.
CHUTE ASSEMBLY ADJUSTMENT
The distance that snow is thrown can be adjusted by
changing the chute's angle. With the engine off and
the spark plug disconnected and grounded, loosen
the wing knob on the side of the chute, adjust the
chute to desired angle, then retighten the wing knob.
SKID SHOE ADJUSTMENT
The space between the shave plate and the ground
can be adjusted. Refer to Figure 14 on page 10.

instructions.

DRIVE AND SHIFTING MECHANISM
At least once a season or after every 25 hours of
operation, remove rear cover. Lubricate any chains,
sprockets, gears, bearings, shafts, and shifting
mechanism at least once a season. Use engine oil
or a spray lubricant. Avoid getting oil on rubber
friction wheel and aluminum drive plate. Refer to
Figure 18.
CHUTE CRANK
The gear on the end of the chute crank should be
greased with multi-purpose automotive grease once
a season.
SPROCKET SHAFT
Lubricate the sprocket shaft with good all-weather
multi-purpose light grease at least once a season or
after every 25 hours of operation. See Figure 18.
IMPORTANT:
Keep all grease and oil off of the
rubber friction wheel and aluminum drive plate.

GEAR CASE
The gear case is lubricated with grease at the
factory
and
disassembled for any reason, lubricate with 2
ounces of Shell Alvania grease EPR00, part number
737-0168. Before reassembling, remove old sealant
and apply "Loctite 5699" or equivalent.

AUGER SHAFT
At least once a season, remove shear bolts on auger
shaft. Oil or spray lubricant inside shaft. See Figure
19. Also lubricate the auger bearings at least once a
