1.
Why does nothing happen to the LED once I turn on the device?
Once you turn on the device, it will start searching for a cellular(GSM) network. This process can take up to 5
minutes. After 5 minutes the LED will start flashing.
2. What's the difference between DEWALT® Signal and DEWALT® Signal Live Hubs?
DEWALT® Signal Live Hubs automate the collection of measurements from DEWALT® Signal Sensors, in conjunction
with the premium features you get as part of ConcreteDNA, teams can collaborate and accelerate their programs.
3. Do I need to use my phone to collect measurements?
DEWALT® Signal Live Hubs automatically collects and uploads to the platform measurements from nearby
DEWALT® Signal sensors, but it is also possible to use your mobile phone to collect measurements if you
need to.
4. How many DEWALT® Signal sensors can be connected at the same time to the DEWALT® Signal Live
Hub?
We recommend no more than 10 DEWALT® Signal Sensors per individual DEWALT® Signal Live Hub.
5. What is the range of a DEWALT® Signal live Hub?
We recommend a distance of up to 16ft, although more is often possible. The DEWALT® Signal Live Hub
has better Bluetooth range than mobile phones, but for a reliable connection, we recommend choosing a
location that is close to the sensor.
Note: The Bluetooth range will be affected by the depth of concrete covering the DEWALT® Signal Sensor
and improves when the concrete has cured for 24 hours.
6. How often does DEWALT® Signal live collect measurements
Measurements are collected every 20 minutes by the DEWALT® Signal Live Hub, please contact us if you
require a higher frequency of reporting.

How often should I charge the battery?
The battery will last for up to 6 weeks on a single charge but for easy use, we recommend you charge the
battery overnight before you start monitoring a new pour.
8. Can a sensor connect to more than one Hub
Yes, an individual DEWALT® Signal Sensor can connect to multiple DEWALT® Signal Live Hubs.
