Guide to the new features. The new EPIC PRO V has added video functions including time-lapse, motion time-lapse, and video panning. To access the new features from the main menu select "new video pan" to do a sweeping pan or “360 Panorama”...
After selecting new video pan you will see this screen Move the Gigapan to the start position of the time lapse using the movement arrows. Keep in mind it moves both horizontally and vertically, which allows for diagonal movements as well.

Once you’ve programed in the number of images, hit the OK button to set. At this point the Gigapan will ask if you would like to see the pan. Selecting “Yes” will cause the unit to go to the start position, then move through to end position to show a preview of the motion.

Use the up and down arrow to select the height of the finish position, then hit “OK”. Select clockwise or counter-clockwise for the direction of the time-lapse. Next you will see the duration screen. You can set the duration of time the time lapse will run in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
