Installing Batteries
1 Open the battery compartment cover.
2 Insert 2 "AA"-size batteries (provided) in the correct
directions.
3 Replace the cover.
H ow To U se
The remote control can operate most of your video recorder's
functions, as well as basic functions of J VC TV sets. (See
below.)
● Point the remote control toward the sensor window.
● The maximum operating distance of the remote control
is about 8 m.
O perating JVC TVs
To operate your TV, while holding down TV , press the
corresponding button: STAN D BY/ O N
(TV Mute). TV VO L. +/ – can be used
PRO G. +/ –,
without holding down TV .
N O TES:
● Depending on the type of J VC TV, there may be cases
where some or all functions cannot be operated using the
remote control.
● If the remote control doesn't work properly, remove its
batteries, wait a short time, replace the batteries and then
try again.
