RCD OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug RCD into power outlet. Press RESET button on
the RCD plug. Indicator should be "ON". See FIG. 1.
2. Press TEST button on the RCD plug. Indicator
should be "OFF". See FIG. 2.

Press RESET button for use. Do not use if test fails.
Contact a qualified electrician to determine cause of
failure.

Press the button to turn on the product. The indicator
light is green when the heating system is activated.
Press the button again to turn it off. See FIG. 3.
NOTE: If there is a power outage or the heater is
accidentally unplugged from the power outlet while
activated or running, the heater will automatically
restart once the power is restored.
2. The indicator light will turn red when the heater is
tilted, tipped over, low or no water flow, or the water
temperature is 95 ºF (35 ºC) or above.
NOTE: Always use a thermometer to test the pool water temperature before entering
or using the pool. If the thermometer indicated water temperature is over 95 degrees
Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius), wait until the indicated water temperature drops
below 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) before using the pool, or below
82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsius) before operating the electric pool heater
again.
NEVER use the pool if indicated water temperature is more than 95 degrees
Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius). Do not operate electric pool heater while the
pool is in use or occupied.
