• When [ q ] is selected, [ w ], [ e ] or [ r ] is set depending on the type of subject
and brightness.
• When [ e ] or [ r ] is set, the flash is activated twice.
Only the following functions can be set in this mode.
[REC] menu
– [PICTURE SIZE]
The settings which can be set are different from when other recording modes are used.
[SETUP] menu
– [CLOCK SET]/[WORLD TIME]/[BEEP]/[LANGUAGE]
The settings of the following items are fixed.
[POWER SAVE] (P26)
[AUTO REVIEW] (P26)
[FLASH] (P44)
[QUALITY] (P71)
[SENSITIVITY] (P71)
[WHITE BALANCE] (P72)
[AF MODE] (P74)
[AF ASSIST LAMP] (P78)
Self-timer (P50)
• The following functions cannot be used.
– Compensating exposure/[DIGITAL ZOOM]
• The other items on the [SETUP] menu can be set in a mode such as the Normal Picture
Mode. What is set will be reflected in the Auto Scene Mode.
