Important Notices
This cord features hard anodized aluminum
»
components (black in color) which are durable yet
extremely lightweight. Older strobes and housings
feature nickel plated brass components (silver in color).
When attaching this cord to a silver bulkhead, the cord
must be detached and properly cleaned after each day
of diving to prevent seizing of components.
Do not remove the sync cord from the strobe or housing
»
while underwater or wet. The plug connections are not
waterproof unless attached to a compatible waterproof
bulkhead.
Do not leave the sync cord connected for extended
»
periods of time. Disconnect all plug connections
routinely to prevent the components from seizing up
and becoming damaged.
Confirm your system's wiring when choosing a sync
»
cord. Mixing TTL and non-TTL components may cause
damage to the strobe or camera.
