CAUTION! Take extra care when cleaning the stairs
to avoid personal injury or damage and to prevent
the vacuum from falling. Always place the cleaner
at the bottom of the stairs. Do not place the vacuum
on the stairs. Use the tube attachment to reach the
furthest stairs. Clean from the bottom to the top of
the stairs.
Emptying and Replacing The Dust Tank
Empty the dust tank regularly, either before or
after use to avoid blocking the air flow through the
vacuum cleaner. Do not over fill the tank.
Switch off the appliance and unplug from the
mains socket.
Press the dust tank release button on the dust
tank handle and lift up to remove the dust tank.
Hold the dust tank over a bin. Push the dust tank
release clip downwards to open the door and
empty the dirt.
Once empty, close the lid gently until the clip
clicks firmly and audibly in to place.
Replace the dust tank into the unit until there is an
audible click.

Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING: Before cleaning and maintenance,
switch the appliance off and remove the plug from
the socket, to prevent electric shock.
Wipe the housing with a soft, damp cloth.
Carefully use a pair of scissors to remove any
threads or hair caught around the brush bar.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners.
Clean the dust filter regularly to preserve the
appliance's suction.
Cleaning the HEPA Filter
Press the dust tank release button on the dust
tank handle and lift up to remove the dust tank.
Remove the dust tank cover by rotating until the
marker aligns with the unlock symbol and then lift
out of the dust container.
