Prepare the Remote Control

The provided Remote Control allows the unit to be operated from a distance.
• The remote control sensor on the front unit is sensitive to the remote control's commands up to a maximum
distance of 6 meters and within a 60° arc.
• Please note that the operating distance may vary depending on the brightness of the room.
Replace the Remote Control Battery
1. Use a needle to push the battery forward through the hole
on rear of remote control.
2. Remove the old battery.
3. Place a new CR2025 battery with correct polarity (+/-) as
indicated.
4. Then install the battery into remote control.

Precautions Concerning Batteries

• When the Remote Control is not to be used for a long time (more than a month), remove the battery from
the Remote Control to prevent it from leaking.
• If the batteries leak, wipe away the leakage inside the battery compartment and replace the batteries with
new ones.
• Do not use any batteries other than those specified.
• Do not heat or disassemble batteries. Never throw them in fire or water.
• Do not carry or store batteries with other metallic objects. Doing so could cause batteries to short circuit,
leak or explode.
• Never recharge a battery unless you are confirmed that it is a rechargeable
battery.

Connect Power

- Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds
to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the unit. Connect the
AC power cord to the AC~ socket on this unit and the wall socket.
To manually set the clock it must be in STANDBY mode.
In STANDBY mode, press and hold the PROG/CLOCK button on the remote control until the hour digits are
flashing.
Press the buttons on the remote control to adjust the hour digits while flashing and press the
PROG/CLOCK button on the remote control to confirm. Once this is done the minute digits will flash.
Press the buttons to adjust the minute digits while flashing and press the PROG/CLOCK buttons on
the remote control to confirm.
- Each activated state will be cleared if no buttons are pressed within 18 seconds.
