Connection procedure

This product requires phantom power.

  1. Connect the output terminals of the microphone to a device that has a microphone input (balanced input) compatible with a phantom power supply.
    • If the connected device does not support phantom power, insert one specified battery into the product.
  2. When attaching to devices such as video cameras, install the included O-rings to the microphone to ensure a tight fit between the microphone holder and microphone.
    • Install both O-rings to the location where the microphone attaches to the holder.

How to insert the battery

Rotate the grip and insert the specified battery into the battery holder. Be sure to check the (+) and (-) polarity indications. If phantom power is supplied with battery inserted, the phantom power has priority.

Switch settings

To reduce the pickup of lowfrequency ambient noise (such as traffic, air-handling systems, etc.), room reverberation and mechanically coupled vibrations, turn ON () the low-cut filter switch located on the side of the product.
