Tm02 Electronic Digital Thermometer uses scientific microcomputer technology. It replaces the traditional disadvantages of the mercury thermometer of mercury pollution and inconvenience of reading with features of fast measurement, safety and simple operation.

- Display: 31/2 LCD digits (unit of display: 0.1°C/0.1°F)
- Battery: LR41 alkaline
- Battery life: about 250 hours or 1000 times.

HOW TO USE
- Press power switch, the screen shows the full segment with a sound of "Bi",which indicates sufficient power and normal selftest routine as well as for measurement.
- Memory function: after the full segment, the last measured value with the letter of "M" is displayed, and then returns to show 37.0°C/98.6°F
- Release the button, then "Lo°C" or "Lo°F" is displayed and the thermometer is ready to measure. During measurement the symbol "°C" or "°F" will flash while the temperature is climbing. On reaching a maximum value, the symbol "°C" or "°F" will cease flashing. This will also happen when temperature increase remains below 0.1°C/0.2°F for about 4 seconds. If temperature remains below 32.0°C/90°F, the symbol "°C" or "°F" will flash for about 16 seconds. Then a buzzing tone can be heard for 10 seconds.
- A buzzing tone will be heard for about 10 seconds which means the measurement has been taken.
- Normal alarm: sound of "bi...bi...bi...bi..." means normal temperature below 37.8°C/100°F.
- Fever alarm: sound of "bi, bi, bi" means fever with a temperature above 37.8°C/100°F.
- During measurement: LCD will display "Lo°C" or "Lo°F" if the measured temperature is below 32.0°C(90°F), or will display "Hi°C" or "Hi°F" if the measures temperature is above 43.0°C/109.9°F
- Turn off the unit by just slightly pressing power switch, or if leaving it for over 9 minutes, it will auto-off for saving power.
- When it is used to measure a child's temperature, close supervision shall be provided by an adult.
MEASUREMENT
You are advised to measure your temperature at a specific time in morning, if it is earlier or later, the temperature may be lower or higher.
- Used in mouth: please close your mouth for 1 minute for stability of temperature, breath calmly through nose. Respiratory air affects the accuracy of measurement of your mouth. Measurement time: 3~5 minute Normal temp.: about 37.0°C/98.6°F
- Used in rectum: this is the way to take the most accurate temperature reading and suits for both infants and children. The sensor shall be inserted up to 2~3 cm. Vaseline can be used for easier inserting. Measurement time: 3~5 minute Normal temp.: about 37.6°C/99.7°F
- Used under armpit: Clean the thermometer with a dry cloth and put it under armpit. Press and fix it with the arm. The temperature value of this measurement is not so accurate and not recommended for accurate measurement. Measurement time: 3~5 minutes Normal temp.: about 36.7°C/98.1°F
Notes: The normal temperatures are different from different human bodies and measuring time. Sterilization is required before every measurement. Measurement is inaccurate when the battery is low-power.
REPLACE BATTERY

- Every 12 months or when the display becomes indistinct or when « » appears on LCD, the battery must be replaced at once for accurate measurement.
- To replace the battery, open the cover of the end part according to the indication with a coin and remove the old battery.
- Then replace with a new battery, make sure to use the new LR41, then re-insert the cover with the coin. Avoid damage to the waterproof ring.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The thermometer is waterproof and can be cleaned by water or sterilization lotion with soft cloth: Sterilization lotion below is recommended: Medical alcohol 90%. It is recommended to clean the thermometer before and after use.
Notes: Other lotion, density or cleaning method may damage the thermometer. The product doesn't need any calibration and is recommended to use for 3 years.
REMARKS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- It is suitable for measuring temperature of human body and meets the needs of the whole family.
- It is designed and manufactured complying with relevant requirements in EN12470-3: performance of Compact electrical thermometers (non-predictive and predictive) with maximum device.
- It has passed EMC emission test, immunity test according to EN60601-12 and biocompatibility test according to MDD annex I.
- According to the degree of protection against electric shocks, it is classified to BF, in accordance with EN60601-1.
- Avoid dropping, crushing or knocking.
- Never put it in boiling water for sterilizing.
- Never put into contact with any chemical solution and keep away from direct sunlight or heat source as well as strong electromagnetic source to avoid interference.
- It should be operated in an environment at the temperature of +10°C~+35°C (+50°F~+95°F) and the humidity of 40~80% while stored and transported in an environment at the temperature of -10°C~40°C (+14°F~+104°F) and humidity of 30~90%.
- Don't remove any parts except for replacing battery.
- Please replace battery before claim for replacing a new product.
- The scrap of product and battery are to be disposed according to relevant national regulations.

Be sure that both the battery and the thermometer are kept away from children.
Do not discard the thermometer with household waste. Use the collection systems provided.
