    IN STALLIN G YO U R N EW RECO RD ER It's essential that your video recorder be properly connected. Follow these steps carefully.     IN ITIAL SETTIN GS When the button on the recorder/remote control is pressed for the first time to power on the recorder after you plug the Auto Set Up mains power cord into a mains outlet, the Country Set display will appear on the TV screen and the recorder's front display panel.

  • Page 29 PDC/ VPS Recording Now available from some TV stations, PDC (Programme Delivery Control) and VPS (Video Programme System) are service designed to assure safe, accurate timer recording. With this system, special code signals are transmitted together with the audio/video signals. These code signals control your video recorder and have D ISPLAY precedence over advertised times you preset in the timer.
