Clinical Data
In a clinical study* of participants with a perceived
mild to moderate hearing impairment, participants
using HP Hearing PRO Hearing Aids experienced
30% improvement in speech understanding in a
noisy environment with the Focus feature enabled
as compared to their unaided condition. There were
also significant benefits for participants in the ease of
listening, sound quality and reduced annoyance from
background noise. Ease of communication in quiet
situations was also improved. The HP Hearing PRO
Hearing Aids self-administered hearing assessment,
Ear ID™, produced results consistent with their clinical
audiogram. Ear ID uses the NAL-NL2 fitting formula to
automatically ensure correct amplification. There were
no adverse events encountered during the study.
