Introduction to RAS Extend LV
Now you can easily deliver secure high-speed plug-ready network access to people and
equipment in land vehicles operating nomadically anywhere in the Redline wireless
coverage area. Designed to address specific needs of oil & gas, utilities and military users,
the RAS-X LV is the first high performance wireless networking system that mounts easily
on a vehicle and provides touchless antenna alignment and network connection.
The RAS-X LV has multiple options for quick and easy mounting. Connect power and the
RAS system automatically scans 360° and self-aligns its antenna to the best wireless signal.
Security and operational settings are negotiated automatically to bring the local Ethernet
plug live on the network at rates up to 100 Mbps. Continuous antenna adjustments keep you
connected even while the vehicle is in motion. The RAS-X LV includes a built-in GPS
antenna and receiver available for location services (option enabled by options key).
