Music-On-Hold Adapter Module
Plug the AC adapter into a 110V power outlet and connect the other end to the 9V jack.

Plug the provided phone cord into the jack marked "Line 1/2" and the other end of the phone cord into the wall jack which

is servicing line 1 and 2.
NOTE: Use a "Duplex Jack" (provided) to share the phone jack with an existing phone.
Connect the audio cable from the "Playback Out" jack on your on the HoldWare Player to the "Audio" jack on the music-on-

hold adapter.
Repeat step 2 for additional lines (if necessary)

TO PUT A CALL ON-HOLD

Press " ** " from the telephone keypad then hang up or switch to another line on your telephone. (Two quick bursts will activate the feature.)
NOTE: Caller will be able to hear sound from your phone's handset until you hang up or switch to another line.

TO RELEASE A CALL ON-HOLD

Press the "LINE" button of the call that you wish to retrieve, or pick up any phone extension connected to the line on-hold. The hold condition is
automatically released.
NOTE: Callers put on-hold using "Call Waiting" will not hear on-hold audio.
ILLUMINATING THE "HOLD" LIGHT OR "LINE IN USE" LIGHT ON YOUR PHONES
On some phones, when a call is put on-hold with the adapter module, the "Hold" light or "Line in Use" light will turn off when the call is put on-hold
and another line is answered. If this occurs, first press " ** " and then press the hold button on your phone. To release the hold condition, you may
need to pick up the phone and press the "Flash" key or quickly switch hook (like you do to get to another line with "Call Waiting").
